We ordered takeout last night and for my meal I ordered “mild” spice. First, the young man handed me the wrong takeout bag, but owner caught it right away. Then got home and took my first bite and it may have been the spiciest thing I ever put in my mouth. I looked at the receipt and it said spice level 2. That is not what I ordered and if this was a 2, I’d hate to see a 3! Had to totally trash my meal. We’ve ordered there before and this wasn’t the first order mistake. We won’t be back. If ordering pickup, carefully review receipt before leaving.

The restaurant is clean, it could use more lighting to brighten up the place. It is clean in the dining room and the restroom. The food taste authentic not too sweet not too salty, it taste authentic. Not the same owner but the same friendly people. I would come back here again and I recommend this place if you are craving for authentic Thai dishes .

Every dish is sugar forward unless you order a salad. Even the little soup that comes out in the beginning is super sugar heavy. If you want a more authentic atmosphere in terms of both clientele and food. Try any other spot on Central Blvd. Senme and Pho Hua are worth a try. I normally get the crispy tofu and vegetables stirfry at pho Hua and the pad Thai at senme (They have a low sugar version that is really good) If you want classic Thai flavors that are not seeped in sugar for the American palette try Thai Taste on East Boulevard.

So we were visiting from out of town and we eat this back home at least once a week. Let’s just say our home restaurant puts this one to shame on all levels. Fried egg rolls were good. Everything else was just ok. When we walked in it look like golden coral setup versus a Thai restaurant with the culture environment. After we placed our order it took forever for the food to come. Someone came after a party of 3 and ordered their food about 5-10 min after us and they got all their food before our eggrolls came out and by the time they received their check we were just getting the rest of our food🤨 so I will definitely be trying a different Thai spot next visit to the area.

We went to dinner not expecting to hear one of one of the greatest conversations that has ever taken place. I'm pretty sure that the lady behind us was taking out a potential hitman and was freely speaking about the situation. She also asked for a red wine and then said "like a sauvignon blanc." Blanc is "white" in French. They talked for a while and he said he was a beer man, she said she was a big wine enthusiast. The food was delicious and the portions were plenty. I got the Shrimp Kang Dang and it was very good. The coconut cream softened the spice, but it was still plenty spicy. The shrimp and coconut combination was particularly good. Pei took really good care of us.
